OUR COMMITMENT TO EVERY CLIENT:
EACH CLIENT’S INDIVIDUAL NEEDS IS OUR ONLY FOCUS

Estate planning can seem like a very mysterious and confusing process, which we know from the 30 years that it’s been the focus of our practice. Buying or selling a home can also be intimidating, especially if you’re a first-time buyer.

We understand that talking about issues that directly involve family, money, and, quite honestly, life and death, can be emotionally complex and often quite difficult.

Our commitment is to be mindful of the personal challenges each client faces, and to then provide the discussion and relevancy of the law as it relates to each client’s personal story and goals.

Philosophy of Practice

WHAT WE BRING TO THIS PROCESS:

A commitment:

  • to learn each client’s story, and then help define their goals as it relates to their personal and family story.
  • to explain the relevant law fully, so there is a shared understanding of what we will be accomplishing with the estate plan.
  • to draft an estate plan that fits each client’s individual needs, and to explain these documents completely.
  • to be responsive with questions and concerns during this process.
  • to not make the estate plan any more complex that it need be.
  • to be available to follow up after the plan is completed.
  • to charge a reasonable professional fee as it relates to the estate plan’s complexity and the time spent.

About Tony

Picture of Tony MoreeI hold a Juris Doctor Degree from Marquette University Law School and a B.A. from Marquette, where I majored in History and minored in English and Philosophy.

I’ve always had my own practice because I knew from the start of my career that what I most enjoyed was working one-on-one with clients.

Being self-employed has enabled me to be very engaged in the raising of my three children, which has been a great blessing in my life. When not working or busy with family activities, I’m still attempting to master the game of golf and enjoy reading, doing some landscaping (not too much) and planning family get-togethers.

Associations

I am a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois Bar Association and Lake County Bar Association.

Community Involvement

I am proud of the many community commitments I’ve had over the years. This includes: The United Way of Lake County, College of Lake County Foundation Board of Directors, Rotary Club of Libertyville, Illinois, Carmel Catholic High School Board of Directors, and many more.

Being involved in the community has always been more important to me than staying within the “bubble” of the legal world.

I chose my client-centered lines of work — estate planning and real estate – because my preference is to work with clients to achieve their goals. Hopefully, this improves their lives which only serves to strengthen their communities.

PROFESSIONAL FEES FOR OUR SERVICES

For Estate Planning Services

What does it cost to have a trust drafted? What do wills cost? This is generally the first question that any prospective client asks — and for good reason. We all want to know what something will cost.

This is why I offer a no-cost, no-obligation initial consultation to discuss your family situation, finances, goals for the future, and all other factors that impact the planning of your estate. Before this discussion, I cannot give a fee estimate, as I have no idea what type of estate plan fits your particular needs.

I will discuss with you, for example, the differences between wills and trusts, what powers of attorney are, and other relevant estate planning concepts.

My promise is that at the end of our session, you will know much more about estate planning, and you will be well equipped, with my assistance, to decide what your estate plan will look like.

Once decisions are made, I will give you a firm price for my professional services in writing.

My fees are reasonable compared to other estate planning attorneys who have similar years of experience and expertise. I want to make my services accessible to clients, as well as hope that you will refer me to family, friends and co-workers.

For Real Estate

Attorney fees to represent buyers and sellers of real estate are quite standard and uniform.

Please contact me so that we can discuss what you’re buying or selling. A short discussion on the phone will enable me to give you a firm price on what my services will cost.
